01
Emtone
Emtone combines radiofrequency and mechanical pressure energy in one treatment. It may be considered for surface irregularities associated with cellulite and overall skin appearance.
Active infection, pregnancy and electronic implants should be discussed with the clinician before treatment.
Assessment and process
Thermal and mechanical stimulation address the skin and connective tissue in different ways. The area and session plan are decided during assessment; the aim is to address local skin appearance, rather than weight loss.
02
Emface
Emface combines synchronised radiofrequency with HIFES electrical muscle stimulation. This needle-free device treatment addresses the skin and supporting facial muscles together.
It should not be expected to produce the same degree of change as surgical facelift; results require individual assessment.
Assessment and process
Radiofrequency supplies controlled heat, while HIFES produces facial muscle contractions. A treatment plan is prepared after assessing facial anatomy and expectations.
03
Ultherapy PRIME
Ultherapy PRIME uses focused ultrasound with real-time imaging. Visualising the target layers beneath the skin helps tailor planning to the individual's anatomy.
Tenderness, redness and swelling may occur; burns, sensory changes and other possible risks are discussed at consultation.
Assessment and process
It may be assessed for concerns in areas such as the brow, under the chin, neck and décolletage. Energy is delivered at selected tissue levels; the area and depth are chosen through individual examination.
04
Exion
Exion is a platform with different treatment applicators. The applicator is considered separately for concerns such as skin texture, fine lines or laxity.
Consultation clarifies the applicator, the expected change and the risks specific to that method.
Assessment and process
The Face applicator combines radiofrequency with targeted ultrasound, while Fractional RF uses radiofrequency microneedling. The method, treatment experience and recovery therefore depend on the selected applicator.
05
Babyface Ultra
Babyface Ultra is based on the Lutronic Ultra platform's 1927 nm thulium laser technology. It may be considered for uneven skin tone and surface texture.
Redness, dryness and sensitivity may occur; recovery and sun protection are planned individually.
Assessment and process
This non-ablative fractional laser delivers energy in small treatment zones. Treatment intensity depends on skin type and the concern being addressed; pigmented lesions require assessment beforehand.
06
Venus Legacy
Venus Legacy combines multipolar radiofrequency with pulsed electromagnetic fields. It may be considered for concerns including skin laxity, wrinkles and cellulite appearance.
A change in local circumference is different from weight loss; the degree and duration of any effect vary between individuals.
Assessment and process
Some applicators also include controlled suction. The treatment area and applicator are selected according to skin and local tissue characteristics.
07
truSculpt flex
truSculpt flex produces muscle contractions through electrical stimulation. It is assessed for abdominal, buttock and thigh muscle tone; the manufacturer's current product name is truFlex.
Discomfort and subsequent muscle tenderness may occur; heart conditions or implants should be disclosed before treatment.
Assessment and process
Planning takes muscle characteristics and physical capacity into account. It uses a different mechanism from the fat-focused truSculpt treatment and is not the same process as exercise.
